These culminated in a presentation of the work at the FiSahara Film Festival in the refugee camp of Dakhla.
We continue to visit the camps and work with the refugees giving them the tools and technical materials to create their own film & theatre pieces.
The Complete Works - Tutors
(December 2007 - date)
The Complete Works (TCW) engages with young people who have been removed from mainstream education.
As tutors we have to work hard to motivate disruptive and disaffected young people. We have had to develop different interactive approaches to the curriculum, which best suit each of their demands.
We are often in a situation where we have to exercise high levels of patience and remain positive around their unpredictable behavioural patterns.
This is extremely rewarding work, which has really developed our interpersonal skills as we have had to be alert at all times around the young people we are working with.
